In March 2004, Randy started Aaall States Auto Transport after driving an auto carrier for close to 10 years. He came up with our company policies based on the complaints he heard on the road from customers about other brokers. He thought he would do the opposite of how other brokers would conduct their business with the customers. If you treat your customer right and don’t lie, they will come back in the future and refer friends. This vision is how our company has grown over the years. Randy started the company with one dispatcher and himself. By the end of 2004 the company grew to 5 employees and moved about 2,000 vehicles the first year.
The office grows
In 2005, Randy needed to get an office as the company was growing fast enough to hire more people. By March of 2005, the company had 8 people in the office and moved 6,500 vehicles that year.
The growth continues
By 2008, we had grown to 12 people and had the 3rd most load inventory available to trucking companies out of all the brokers in the country. We were growing our client base by purchasing over $15,000 / month in leads from lead providers. By the end of this year, moved over 10,500 vehicles.
Health takes a toll - half is sold
In 2010, Randy sold half the business to PJ Vaske due to health issues. PJ would now take over the day to day operations of the company. At this time we were moving over 12,000 vehicles per year.
Scaling down to improve efficiency
In 2012, we had a few of our sales people retire. At this time we decided to scale our company back down to four employees, reducing overhead. This year we moved 8,500 vehicles, which is less than previous years. However, our staff was smaller than previous couple years. From this day on, we mainly service all repeat and referral business and don’t spend the money we used to on leads.
In 2013 we moved roughly 9,100 vehicles.
In 2014 we moved 9,600 vehicles.
